Six IN-PERSON Sessions January 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18 Mary Oliver, Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award recipient, once wrote that she puts her “own hunger” on the page. Readers agree that in doing so she nourishes us with remarkable food for thought. Oliver dances with words, moves through spaces we often skip, and lingers in moments of epiphany. Her poems invite both meditative solitude and communal sharing of our collective threads of humanity. Come be a part of our immersion into her transforming view of the natural and spiritual world. **Prior to the first class session, participants should purchase a copy of Devotions: The Selected Poems of Mary Oliver, available on Amazon. Nancy Duffey Story earned her B.A. with a double major in English and Social Work from LaGrange College.
