Three IN-PERSON sessions June 4, 11, 18 This three-session course will provide participants with information about the science involved in space exploration. It will be interactive, with participants encouraged to participate in activities designed to provide them with understanding of the concepts presented. These will include information about telescopes, rocket flight, characteristics of planets, human spaceflight, and more. Frank Lock has taught high school astronomy, has been an advocate for human space exploration since 1961, and is a member of the Network of Educator Astronaut Teachers.
