Six IN-PERSON Sessions January 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18 There are many types of yoga. This class will emphasize the unity of mind, body and spirit to teach the participants mindful relaxation. Stretching, breathing techniques and relaxation exercises will be taught so each individual will understand how to do them safely and effectively. No experience required. Chairs will be provided if you are unable to get on/off the floor. *Participants will need to bring a mat, blanket and towel.* Joanne Hamilton is a physical therapist with over 45 years of experience with specialty in outpatient orthopedics. She has been in the Gainesville community since 1981. She practices and teaches yoga. She combines the concepts of yoga with traditional physical therapy to help others manage physical and stressful conditions.
