About This Activity
Description
This Instructional basketball program for boys in Kindergarten and focuses on building on fundamental skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall enjoyment. The program is modified to increase playing time and create a positive experience for young athletes. Practices are held once a week on a weeknight chosen by volunteer parent coaches, with weeknight practices beginning January 4th, 2027 and lasting one hour. The season opens with initial practices on December 12th and December 19th. Saturday morning games begin January 9th, start as early as 9:00 am, and are held at a local elementary school, and run through February 20th, with February 27th reserved as a make-up date. All games are one hour in length. Before the season begins, families are invited to a virtual meeting to review schedules, expectations, and important program details.If you you love basketball and working with kids, we'd love to have you join us as a coach.
