Whether you celebrate Valentine's Day, Galentine's Day or just want to have a special night out, join us at Casey for a night of Moroccan magic. Imagine you are in Marrakesh or Casablanca in this hands-on cooking class. Students will prepare carrot and chickpea salad and Morocco's most well-known dish, chicken tagine with apricots, almonds and couscous. For dessert, students will make orange and dates with cinnamon honey. After making this delectable dinner, the class will sit down with Chef instructor Tisha Djissenou and enjoy the communal meal together.
Tisha is the owner of Versatile Catering, a woman and minority-owned catering company. She blends African, Caribbean and global flavors to create bold, made-from-scratch dishes that honor tradition but with a modern twist.
This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.
For your safety, we ask all students wear close toed, no slip shoes to this class
