This introductory class allows students to jump start their first experience with ballet, learning the basics in preparation for continuing study. An understanding of body movement, alignment, expression, grace and deportment are gained. Ballet training provides the foundation for tap, jazz and other theatrical dance forms.
Students must wear either a leotard and tights or shorts, a t-shirt and tights. Ballet shoes are required. Long hair should be pulled back into a bun.
All current City of Gaithersburg health protocols must be followed in order to attend class.
