Description
Casey's Learn and Play is an enriching and fun program introducing your child to group learning and play. Your child will enjoy arts and crafts, dancing, singing, story time, science projects, theme months, special guest visitors, seasonal parties, sensory activities, free play, outdoor fun, and more! Activities are led by our warm and wonderful instructors who have decades of early childhood education experience. This program incorporates educational lessons, socialization opportunities, and physical activity, providing your child with a wonderful and engaging morning. Learn and Play helps your child gain self-confidence, learn the importance of sharing and cooperation, interact positively with peers and adults, and foster a desire to learn.
This program is for 3-4 year olds. Your child must be 3 years old by September 1, 2023. Children must also be potty trained and must be able to sit in a circle and follow directions. A four-part payment plan is available during the check out process.
Make sure to join us for our Learn and Play Orientation on September 7 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. You will get a chance to meet the instructors, tour the classroom, and hear about the schedule, policies, and more.
A payment plan is available. The first payment of 25% is due at the time of registration. The next three payments of 25% are due on October 1, 2023, November 1, 2023, and December 1, 2023. You can sign up for this payment plan while registering during the payment section.
A copy of child's birth certificate will be required prior to first day of program. Children must be three years old by September 1, 2023. They must be potty trained and must be able to sit in a circle and follow directions.
Every child must be signed in and out each day by an authorized individual. Under no circumstance should a child come into or leave the building without an authorized adult.
Drop-Off Policy
Drop-Off begins at 10:00 a.m. Please do not bring your child earlier as we are setting up for the day.
Drop-Off is from 10:00-10:15 a.m. Please make sure your child is here by 10:15 or they will miss instructions for the day.
Pick-Up Policy
You may begin picking up your child at 11:30 p.m.
If your child is not picked up by 11:45 p.m. you will be charged a $1.00 per minute late fee. If you need to pick up your child early, please let us know during Drop-Off. If you know you will be late please contact our Front Desk at 301-258-6366.
Release Authorization
Your child will only be released during Pick-Up to those individuals listed on your Permission and Emergency Notification Form. We will not release your child to anyone not listed.
If you would like to add additional individuals to this list, it must be submitted in writing to one of the Learn & Play Instructors. When a new individual is then authorized, they should bring a picture ID with them at Pick-Up. We will be checking ID to confirm that it is the correct individual.
What to Bring on the First Day
- Emergency Form
- An entire change of clothes for your child. This should include: a shirt, pants/shorts, underwear, and socks. We will keep these items in storage bags labeled with your child's name throughout the session. They will be used in case your child has an accident or illness. We will let you know when we needed to use these items so you can bring in replacements.
What to Bring Each Day
- Appropriate Clothing: Casual wear- Shorts, t-shirts, jeans, etc. If your child is going to wear a skirt or dress please make sure they have shorts or tights underneath. We may use art materials that stain, so please keep that in mind. Dress for the weather. We go outside weather permitting.
- Closed toe shoes- No sandals, crocs, or flip flops.
