Minecraft: Education Edition – Exploring the Amazon Rainforest This spring, students will embark on an immersive STEM journey through the Amazon Rainforest using Minecraft: Education Edition. Blending technology, environmental science, and creativity, this project-based program introduces learners to one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems while developing critical 21st-century skills. Students will: Explore rainforest ecosystems and biodiversity Investigate environmental challenges and conservation efforts Design and build Amazon-inspired habitats in Minecraft Collaborate on solutions to protect endangered species Strengthen research, problem-solving, and digital design skills Through guided exploration, multimedia resources, and hands-on world-building, students gain a deeper understanding of global ecosystems while applying coding, design thinking, and teamwork. This engaging spring session combines science, sustainability, and creative technology — empowering students to become thoughtful innovators and environmental stewards.
