Description
Students in 1st-6th grade - Enjoy a full day of artistic exploration and creativity when you have off from school! Come join the Darlington Adventurer's Guild for a day-long roleplaying game, where we will make our characters, and then play out scenes where they run amuck, grab loot, and generally cause trouble. The game we'll be using is called Blister Critters, inspired by Ren-and-Stimpy style Saturday Morning cartoons, and includes "ad breaks" where the players fill out mad libs to serve as the commercials. The characters are Critters, animals who have become self-aware after an apocalypse has wiped out the human rice, left to fend for themselves and get up to no good in the world we've left behind. Unlike our other Darlington Adventurers' Guild classes, this class is open to both adults and students! All ages are invited to participate in shenanigans.
Bring a lunch and two snacks, and wear play clothes. Before and After Care is available - registration is required in advance (contact the office at 610-358-3632 for details): Before Care (8am-9am): $15/hour (1 hour minimum); After Care (3pm-5pm): $15/hour (1 hour minimum). Aftercare is free for any member attending a 4pm lesson or class on the same day.
