Take a closer look at the individual parts of our faces that make us all, well . . individuals! Through direct observation and step by step templates and tutorials, sketch along with Teacher Kaity, as you learn to develop your studies into realistic drawings of the human face. From studying facial features to looking at our faces as a whole, learn tricks in creating realistic proportional drawings while using a variety of materials including- cut paper, charcoal, pastels, colored pencils and paints. You'll use these different mediums to create a variety of drawings and paintings ranging from black & white to expressive color, that captures the detail and shapes of the art of portraiture.
Projects in Session 1 and 2 are unique. All materials are included. In accordance with GVSD policies, students may be bused directly from schools using Garnet Valley School District transportation for this class as part of our Arts After School Club.
If Darlington is forced to close due to PA State Mandate, classes will continue online to ensure the continuity of arts enrichment.
