"The Heavy Equipment Exploration Camp is a hands-on experience designed to introduce students to careers in heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Over three days, participants will engage with industry experts, explore fundamental concepts of machinery, and gain firsthand experience operating equipment in a controlled environment. Camp Agenda: Day 1: Introduction to the Industry & Equipment Basics Day 2: Understanding Heavy Equipment Systems Day 3: Hands-On Field Experience & Equipment Operation Why Attend? ✔ Gain real-world exposure to heavy equipment careers ✔ Learn from industry professionals in a hands-on environment ✔ Develop basic mechanical and operational skills ✔ Experience operating heavy equipment in a safe and controlled setting This camp is perfect for students considering careers in construction, heavy equipment operation, or mechanics. No prior experience is required—just an eagerness to learn and explore the world of heavy machinery! Clothing required for safety: Pants and shirts with a minimum a short sleeves are required. Bring a sack lunch Please Note: To ensure equitable access, we kindly ask that each educator limits their initial registration to two externship opportunities. This will allow as many participants as possible to take advantage of these experiences. After the first two weeks of registration, we will open remaining spots to those interested in additional opportunities. Thank you for your understanding and support!
