About This Activity
Sludge, mold, mud, and more! The Gross Science camp explores the icky, grimy, and nitty gritty details of science. Students will learn about the principles behind different types of chemical reactions, the biological processes common to all living organisms, and why exactly we learn to perceive certain things as gross, smelly, or off-putting - while touching, smelling, playing with, and learning about these substances first-hand. If you like getting elbow-deep in slimy solutions and messy experiments, then get ready to put on your lab coat and join us for this new and exciting camp! * This class is oriented for grades 5-8. However, older students are welcome to register as long as they are aware they may be with younger students.
