The YMCA Youth Track program is a great way to have fun while learning the fundamentals of popular track and field events. Each week, the practice will introduce and teach the fundamentals of a different subset of track and field: sprinting, hurdles, discus/shot put, long-jump/triple jump, mid-distance/relay, long-distance. The second session will consist of mini-meets focused on that week’s lesson. The last week is a review and decathlon. Whether you want to cross train and prepare for the Olympics or just get some exercise while making friends, our track program is a great place to start!
