Description
Description: Learn the art of being a true outdoorsman! Our primary activities will be fishing, archery and foraging along with skills that help you do those things well. Learn and develop diverse skill sets of food acquisition! Fish lessons, as allows, will include baiting, cleaning and cooking as well as gear, casting and, of course, fishing. Foraging will include plant ID and how to safely harvest in various seasons. Archery practice will occur several times throughout the week with an emphasis on safety, practical use, and form.What to Bring/Wear: Backpack with holds: sunscreen, water shoes, bug repellent, and clothing appropriate for the weather and getting dirty, lunch, snacks and water. No personal knives. Participants may not use phones except for parent contact. Older participants may be allowed to use Coyle Outside knives to build skills once they have established themselves as trustworthy with a knife.
