About This Activity
Description
Forage and Food is focused on understanding the resources that surround us and how to effectively collect them. Skills learned include archery, trapping, tracking, foraging, and food preparation. By foraging for plants and mushrooms campers will learn about their uses, ecology and identification. Trapping will help campers learn how to track game, tie knots, and be observant. Hunting instruction focuses on safety, ethics, and methods. Join Owl (returning Coyle Outside instructor) for a week of learning how to feed yourself from nature!Bring appropriate clothing, snacks, and lunch.
