About This Activity
Description
Join us as we waltz into the world of fairytales and fables! We will study and dance a different story each day! Class will begin with the introduction to the story of the day, followed-by a ballet warm-up and stretch. Then, we will complete ballet exercises across the floor. Next, we will complete a craft that we can use or wear when we dance our story. We will then play dance games. Each class will conclude with the class creating a dance to tell the story of the day through movement and pantomime.
Dancers should wear form-fitting attire that allows them to move freely. Leggings and a tank top work well if you are not ready to purchase dance attire. Ballet shoes are preferred. Don't forget to bring a water bottle!
