About This Activity
The Elk Creek Youth Wrestling Novice Tournament is designed for wrestlers who are newer to the sport and looking for a positive, developmental competition experience. This event is separate from the Regular Youth Tournament to ensure appropriate matchups, clearer communication, and easier registration. Wrestlers may register for one or two weight classes. Pricing is $50 for one weight class or $90 total for two weight classes. Weigh In time: 8:00AM; Tournament starts: 9:00AM All wrestlers will be weighed in prior to the tournament. If a wrestler does not make the weight for a selected class, tournament staff may move the wrestler to the appropriate available weight class. Age Divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, Middle School (6th Grade) Weight Classes: 6U: 40–45, 45–50, 50–55, 55–60, 60–65, 65–70, 70–75 8U: 50–55, 55–60, 60–65, 65–70, 70–75, 75–80, 80–85 10U: 60–65, 65–70, 70–75, 75–80, 80–85, 85–90, 90–95, 95–100 12U: 70–75, 75–80, 80–85, 85–90, 90–95, 95–100, 100–105, 105–110 Middle School (6th Grade): 80–85, 85–90, 90–95, 95–100, 100–105, 105–110, 110–115, 115–120
