Description
Join Girdwood Fungus Fair veteran dye enthusiast Teresa Paquet in an exploration of color using pigments derived from mushrooms and other fungus, some of which are found locally. Learn which mushrooms give color and how to make it happen.Participants will take home 4 pieces; two dyed silk scarfs and two dyed small gift bags, just in time for the holidays!
Dress appropriately for working inside with the dye pots. Bring an apron or clothing you don't mind getting splashed with dye.
Workshop will be held in the Girdwood School Art Room, Wednesday November 18, 5:30 to 8:00 PM
Financial Aid/ Payment Plans: Financial aid is available if needed as well as payment plans to spread the cost of classes over time. Please email Julie at jjohnson@fourvalleys.org to take advantage of either option.
Refund Policy: If FVCS cancels a class you will receive a refund (except transaction fees which are charged by our service provider). If you withdraw more than 3 days prior to class, FVCS will charge a 25% fee to a maximum of $20 for admin costs and provide an account credit for the remaining tuition. If you withdraw less than 3 days before class starts, no refund or credit will be given.
