About This Activity
Description
This nature camp focuses on acquiring heritage and wilderness skills, such as shelter-building, water purification, fire-starting, unplugged navigation, and knots and lashings. We will spend one day fishing at Lake Ellyn. Campers will observe how wildlife survives and learn to identify dangerous plants. We will practice our new skills by playing games and completing challenges.
A detailed letter will be sent prior to camp. Campers should be entering sixth through eighth grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
