About This Activity
Description
This nature maker camp will turn the outdoors into an open-air workshop. Campers will assemble and complete a variety of hands-on projects. Some will stay at the park, helping birds and other wildlife. Others will be brought home to enjoy. We will include work to improve native habitats. In addition, campers will have time to explore, hiking the trails and becoming familiar with the resident plants and animals. Eco-Builders have a water day where they are able to wade in the pond and creek. We also test the water and examine the aquatic life within to determine the water quality.
A detailed letter will be sent prior to camp. Campers should be entering fourth through six grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
