About This Activity
Description
Young children, new to the piano, require engaging, age-appropriate instruction combined with whole body movement that inspires a fun and solid understanding of musical concepts. Students will experience movement, singing and rhythm games, finger exercises and imaginative stories as they apply what they learn to playing the piano. Students should have a piano or keyboard at home. An iPad is helpful but not necessary for additional at-home practice. A $20 materials fee is due the first day of class.
