Young children, new to the piano, require engaging, age-appropriate instruction combined with whole body movement that inspires a fun and solid understanding of musical concepts. Lessons designed especially for 1st and 2nd graders, will take students on a journey of movement, song, rhythm games, finger exercises and imaginative stories as they apply what they learn to playing the piano. Students should have a piano or keyboard at home. An iPad is helpful but not necessary for additional at-home practice. A $30 materials fee is due the first day of class.
