The Safety Village program is designed to build a foundation of safety knowledge in young children, including personal, pedestrian, home and play safety, in a fun environment. We will help develop confidence and sound decision-making abilities regarding safe practices. Children learn how to handle specific safety situations such as being approached by a stranger and how community workers help people. This program is play-based. Classroom visitors, games, crafts, music, stories, films, and role playing are a part of the Safety Village curriculum. Children will practice safe riding and street safety in our outdoor learning area. Please bring a water bottle and bike helmet to class each day. Must meet the age requirement by September 1, 2026.
