About This Activity
Description
Ages 6-14Kids will improve endurance and learn proper form while training for 2K-3K distances. This informal co-ed club assigns groups based on birth year and ability level. Registration includes practice time, a team t-shirt, and anend-of-season meet. Participants should register based on their birth year (2009-2017) and gender.To ensure the quality of practices, registration is limited by the availability of volunteer coaches. Interested in coaching? Email dtripp@gepark.org. A meeting for adults/caregivers will be held after the first practice to introduce coaches and discuss the season. Practices are held twice weekly at Ackerman Park, Newton Park, or Maryknoll Park and start on Saturday, April 13. Min/Max: 4/10. (dt)
