Making and eating ice cream is a fun way to introduce early chemistry and build self-esteem. Kids will make homemade brown sugar ice cream with fall mix-ins like apple cider donuts, candy cane crunch, and pumpkin mellocremes. They'll learn about the billion-dollar ice cream industry, sample an Icee, and explore the science behind Dippin’ Dots. An optional holiday ice cream eating contest caps off this hands-on, fall-themed class that blends learning with fun. For an allergen list, please contact Katy Speck at kspeck@gepark.org.
