High school volleyball open gym is open to all current high school students. Open Gym is intended for unstructured, open, drop-in play only. Organized practices, team training, drills, private instruction, or coaching are not permitted during Open Gym hours. Any organized instruction requires a facility rental and prior approval from the Park District. Open gym volleyball is an informal, drop-in playing session where participants can show up, and play pickup games without committing to a league or team. Unlike structured leagues with set rosters, schedules, and standings, open gym sessions are flexible. Players arrive, sign in, form teams on the spot, and rotate through games. There's no season to commit to, no tryouts, and no long-term registration. Just show up and play. Location: Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center. (dr)
