Get ready to light up the night as the Glen Ellyn Park District and Charlie’s Corner Foundation are partnering to offer the Glow in the Park Lantern Walk. This exciting evening is free to attend, portions of food, lantern sales plus all cash donations will benefit Lurie Children’s. Start the evening by enjoying face painting, inflatables, live music, food, and much more. At 7:20 pm, join in the illuminated paper lantern walk around the lake. Decorate a lantern on-site for the walk or bring your own ready to go! There is a $15 fee per lantern to decorate on-site (while supplies last; cash/credit). Pre-purchased lanterns can be purchased online using code 139504 and picked up at the Main Street Recreation Center starting August 3 and ending September 4. New this year, register the whole family for the 2K Glow Run/Walk taking place at 8pm following the illuminated lantern walk.
