About This Activity
FIRST SESSION: AUSTRALIAN ANIMALS MAKE A SNAKE OUT OF MODELING CLAY! Draw and paint some of the strangest and most dangerous animals on earth! Projects include the blue ringed octopus, koala, kangaroo, cockatoo, platypus, lyre bird, kiwi bird and make a marbleized clay snake. Students will enjoy listening to traditional Aboriginal stories each week while using watercolor and wax resist, marker, colored pencil, liquid graphite sticks, chalk and oil pastels. Dates: Sept. 8, 22, 29; Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27. Tuition is $85 for the 7 wks.
