Barre class is a low-impact practice using small targeted movements to encourage strength and flexibility. It is easy on the joints while still delivering a challenging workout. This class will also work on building body awareness and control, particularly through core engagement and balance. We incorporate upbeat music to motivate students while using weights, exercise balls and bands to lift, tone, and strengthen the entire body. Adaptations are included throughout, allowing students to work at their own level. Amanda is a certified barre teacher. As an elementary educator, Amanda brings her passion for teaching in a fun and meaningful way.
