Description
The Youth Honors Orchestra is an auditioned ensemble for Elkhart County string players, open to students in grades 6-12. YHO is conducted by Nathan Berkey.YHO Concert Orchestra rehearses on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm in room MC 150. YHO Symphony Orchestra rehearses on Sundays from 2:00-3:30 pm in room MC 150. Students who audition and are accepted into the YHO Symphony Orchestra will receive a separate rehearsal schedule for Sunday afternoons from the YHO Program Director via email.
Fall Concert: Tuesday, November 17, 2026 (call time 5:30, concert 7:00 pm)
Please note: Students who are new to YHO must complete an audition in order to register for this activity.
Continuing YHO members: to continue with YHO Concert Orchestra, you do not need to re-audition. To be considered for YHO Symphony Orchestra, you must re-audition. For audition requirements and to set up an audition, please refer to our website.
This activity is for the FALL SEMESTER 2026-27. To register for the spring semester, please register for activity [500-2 (26-27)]
