About This Activity
In this program, children will learn about the art of visual storytelling. Through a variety of projects, they will explore the different mediums of animation from traditional to stop motion. To supplement these activities, campers will be given a brief history of animation and taught the twelve principles that bring drawings to life. Towards the end of the week, they will have the opportunity to build a 3D model in a computer graphics program and create their very own short animation, which they will be invited to screen with their other projects at the end of the week. Lunch and afternoon activities/field trips included!
