About This Activity

Join us for a hands-on camp where you'll learn the fundamentals of working safely with electricity while gaining practical skills used by electrical professionals.🔹 Understand electrical circuits – Learn about common components, devices, and safety practices. 🔹 Build and test circuits – Wire and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits using a digital multimeter. 🔹 Hands-on wiring projects – Solder and wire an electrical outlet, switch, and light. 🔹 Industry experience – Tour Arauco to explore real-world applications and career opportunities in the electrical field. his camp is perfect for students interested in learning essential electrical skills and exploring careers in the industry! Safety Clothing Requirements: closed-toe shoes Participants should bring a bag lunch each day. Please Note: To ensure equitable access, we kindly ask that each educator limits their initial registration to two externship opportunities. This will allow as many participants as possible to take advantage of these experiences. After the first two weeks of registration, we will open remaining spots to those interested in additional opportunities. Thank you for your understanding and support!
