This hands-on experience introduces campers to the compassion, precision, and quick thinking required in the nursing profession. Educator Career Connection Educators will gain firsthand exposure to healthcare career pathways, clinical simulation technology, patient communication, and the essential workplace skills required in today’s medical settings—providing valuable examples to support science, health, and career readiness conversations with students. No prior healthcare experience is required—just a willingness to participate, learn, and explore real-world applications. Educator Externship Registration Guidelines To ensure equitable access across the region, educators are asked to limit initial registration to two externship opportunities during the first two weeks of enrollment. Remaining openings will then be available for additional registrations.
