Make flavorful Greek foods including: Koulourakia (Butter Cookies), Baklava, Spanakopita (Spinach Pie), Saganaki (Pan Seared Greek Cheese), Tzatziki (Cucumber Yogurt Dip), Stuffed Peppers, Souvlaki (Marinated Pork Skewers), Branzino (Fish baked under a castle of salt), Grilled Octopus, Hummus (non-Greek but often found with Greek foods), Dolmades (Stuffed Grape Leaves), Lamb Chops, Pastitsio (Greek Lasagna) and Greek Salad. Make your very own take home kitchen herb garden. Learn about Greek Mythology, participate in water/land Olympics, enjoy olive/olive oil tastings, perform in a play, and learn a Greek Dance or two. Use a mystery box of ingredients to compete in a culminating fierce cooking competition. Complete the week by taking home a “Greek Feast of the Gods” to share with your family. Each session includes: T-shirt, mask, chef kit, lunches, snacks, final dinner and amazing surprise bling! Proceeds from camp will be donated to SHARE (our local food bank in McLean, Virginia).
