Our original program. How it all started! Campers will "travel" to Italy learn about the regional influences on the wonderful Italian cuisine. These budding chefs will learn to make pasta and pizza dough efficiently and from scratch. They will also prepare Mozzarella alla Caprese, Focaccia, Potbread, Giardiniera, Angel Hair with Marinara, Chicken Saltimbocca, Eggplant Rollatini, Pappardelle alla Bolognese, 48 layer Green Lasagna, 4 cheese Ravioli, Pasta Pomodoro, Margherita Pizza, Risotto alla Milanese, Penna alla Vodka Sauce, Caponata, Lemon Gelato, Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and a few other surprises. On the last day of camp, our Iron Chefs will share a multi-course dinner to bid ARRIVEDERCI to our action-packed week. Our Italian 14-course feast and presented by our future Michelin chefs. (Kitchen Stamina is a must!) This session for campers also includes: a unique T-shirt, chef kit (apron, hat, utensils) recipe book, reference texts, water bottle, creation of lunches and snacks from seasonal ingredients, final family dinner (weather pending) and amazing surprise bling!
