About This Activity
Have you and your child ever wandered through the Roundhouse at the Franklin County Fair and thought, “Hey… we could totally enter something here!”? This summer, we’ll be crafting up a storm, cool and comfy in the air conditioning during the height of summer, with also some creative fun outside in the shade too. We’ll play with ideas and set up projects for fair categories like animal portraits (painting or drawing) fabric creations (hand made clothes or dolls) jewelry, popsicle stick creations more. And if your child isn’t into the competitive side of crafting? No problem at all—there’s absolutely no pressure to enter their creation here. This is all about creativity, fun and making memories (and maybe a blue ribbon winning masterpiece or two).
