About This Activity
OASES camp features learning about gardens and gardening; you will plant your own garden plot that you can visit and harvest from. In addition, we will : -Make a Solar oven and enjoy the snack that we cook in it with some home made sun tea -Meet under the cloud banners each day to visit with the chickens and ducks and learn how to care for them -Learn about our vegetable hero of the day including where the food originated from and what value it has to help keep us healthy OPTIONAL activities depending on a vote of the campers -Make a bridge credited to the scientist and artist Leonardo da Vinci -Make a bird house for you to take home with you -Cool off by running thru the sprinklers Teacher: Hunt McKinnon
