Instructor: Steven Chapp Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate in printmaking - Intermediate drawing skills is helpful Medium: Printmaking Total Class Hours: 4 Description: Drypoint Intaglio prints from recycled TETRA PAK containers. This is best for those with intermediate drawing skills who enjoy drawing. No printmaking experience needed. In this one-day class, you will discover how to create your own original drypoint intaglio prints using recycled Tetra Pak containers as the matrix (plate). You will explore various techniques for creating an image on the matrix, including drawing directly onto the surface and cutting and peeling the matrix. Students will cut their own plates to work on, giving them the freedom to work in a variety of sizes, formats, and shapes that will fit within a 7”x10” sheet of paper.
