About This Activity

Intaglio prints from recycled TETRA PAK containers: In this one-day workshop you will discover how to create your own original drypoint intaglio prints using recycled Tetra Pak containers as the matrix plate. You will explore how to create imagery by directly drawing on them with a scribe for line work and or peeling away the surface foil to create rich blacks. Students will cut their own plates to work on giving them the freedom to work in a variety of sizes, formats & shapes. Having some basic drawing skills is helpful. No printmaking experience needed.
