*Course registration will close August 26, 2025 Attention storytellers and yarn spinners! If you have a story about the by-gone days of the pre-1970s it's time put it in writing and get it published! The goal of the workshop is to help you craft your tale then prepare it for submission to the national print magazine ""Good Old Days.” Your story can be a personal experience or one passed down in your family. For novices or pros. After covering the basics of creative non-fiction, you'll learn what grammar rules to bend; when to embellish; how to keep the reader riveted; and the fine art of editing, editing, editing - all in 1,000 words or less. You'll draw creative inspiration from other writers but most important give your story the best shot at getting published.
