About This Activity
Overview: Our scientists mixed up water samples from three different locations! Using water quality tests, help us to figure out where our samples came from. Trip Description: Students will use water chemistry to identify mystery water samples. Students will learn how to test pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and more. They will interpret these results to determine where their mystery water samples came from. Learning Outcome: Students will learn how to test water quality and interpret their data to make real-life connections. Ocean Literacy Principle #4: The Ocean makes Earth habitable.
