About This Activity
Overview: Students will investigate how different animals work together in the wild to survive. Trip Description: Students will investigate the interactions between undersea animals and learn about the ocean community. They will learn the meaning of mutualism and learn about how the clownfish and sea anemone interact. Students will create a model to demonstrate mutualism. Learning Outcome: Students will be able to explain mutualism and give an example of it in the marine environment. Ocean Literacy Principle #5: The Ocean Supports a great diversity of life and ecosystems.
