About This Activity
Cattlemen’s Days are a part of Gunnison’s culture and it demonstrates lots of science and athleticism of both humans and animals. Learn about genetics and animal breeding, line dancing, and the physics used by the athletes and animals competing in rodeos. Field Trip: 4H Show at Cattlemen's Days Add-On Field Trip Option: Campers who would like an extra adventure for their field trip will have the opportunity to sign up for rock climbing at Hartman's with Western Wilderness Pursuits in lieu of the Outdoor Education & Hartman Castle Tour Field Trip! JMC will provide transportation to and from the field trip in 15 passenger Western vans. All campers under the age of 9 must be seated in a booster seat / car seat (provided by parent / guardian).
