DescriptionCPR and First Aid Certification CourseBecome Certified to Administer First Aid and CPRHigh-quality, cost-effective, CPR and first aid training programs designed for individuals and organizations to meet regulatory requirements and/or learn critical skills that could help to safe a life. City of Hagerstown Parks & Recreation division has partnered with highly-skilled and experienced emergency-service professional of Mid-Atlantic Safety and Emergency Consultants, to provide opportunities to become trained and certified in life-saving skills: CPR and first aid, through American Safety & Health Institute curriculum. CPR and First Aid certification course takes about 2 hours to complete. Receive training from an experienced, licensed emergency-response professional. Learn priceless critical life-saving skills such as how to respond to someone choking, when and how to administer CPR, First Aid, and essential safety and emergency practices. Classroom training will utilize both text book materials, and interactive experience training with manikins to imitate real-life scenarios for valuable safety and survival skills. At the end of the course, students will demonstrate learning, and acquire a certification card in the mail following completion of the course. Certification valid for two years.CPR & First Aid certification programs are provided by Mid-Atlantic Emergency and Safety Consultants, LLC. Classes are instructed by Dave Donohue, MA, CEM, MEP, EMT-P. Classes will be held at The Fit Room at Fairgrounds Park, 532 N. Cannon Ave. Hagerstown, Maryland.
