About This Activity
person program hosted at McMaster University’s Campus in Hamilton, Ontario. Engineering Explorations introduces students to a wide range of engineering concepts through exciting hands-on activities! Students in this program will have the opportunity to complete a chemistry and circuit/soldering lab along with many other engaging projects and workshops. These will have a focus on exploring engineering design, developing digital literacy skills, and applying STEAM concepts that students learn. This camp program is developed and taught by undergraduate students enrolled in McMaster University’s Faculty of Engineering programs and is also supported by McMaster University professors and staff members. The one-week program is offered for eight different weeks of the summer. The content is repeated for all weeks of the summer. Please note “Week 1” is a 4-day week due to the Canada day on July 1 Students entering Grade 3 or 4 as of September 2024 should enroll in this program.
