Barefoot Puppet Theatre Presents: New Squid on the Block, a workshop experience at the Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center, Dive into the fun and discovery! This hands-on workshop brings New Squid on the Block to life, inviting young participants to explore themes of connection, diversity, and marine life in a playful and meaningful way. Through puppet-making, storytelling, and interactive games, students journey into the vibrant Antarctic world filled with squid, penguins, orcas, and jellyfish—while also learning about teamwork, empathy, and caring for the environment. Blending creativity with science, this workshop sparks imagination, encourages self-expression, and builds awareness of our oceans and the creatures that call them home. This workshop includes a complimentary ticket to the performance on October 25th.
