Description
Led by Joelle (Jo) Snyder, this camp offers an exciting opportunity for young softball players to enhance their skills. Joelle concluded her collegiate softball career in 2022 after competing at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania (MU) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), where she earned her M.S. Degree in Exercise Science. A 4x PSAC selection as a shortstop/outfielder, she totaled 170 career hits.
With nearly 3 years of coaching experience in the Greater Philadelphia area, Joelle has worked with collegiate travel teams, high school programs, and provided private instruction. Her purpose is to share her knowledge and experiences to help players grow and succeed.
The camp will focus on:
- Teaching key softball fundamentals
- Helping players capitalize on their strengths
- Improving areas of weakness
- Providing a fun and memorable experience for all participants
Camp is Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm. We will send you information about our weather policy before camp starts.
Location: Haverford Reserve Softball Field (9000 Parkview Dr. Haverford, PA 19041).
You must supply your own glove, bat, and helmet. Players should bring a snack and a re-usable water bottle.
You will receive a welcome letter the week prior to the start of camp with information about what to bring, where to meet, and more.Refund policy for all Programs (excludes fitness)
- There is a $25 drop out fee for all programs if you withdraw within one week (7 days) of the program start date.
- Full refunds/credits will be issued if the Parks & Recreation Department cancels a program.
- All refunds have a $10 service fee attached unless the refund is due to injury.
- There is no fee switching from one program to another unless the balance of the class is different.
- After a program starts no refunds will be given unless approved by the Program Coordinator
