Steel Baseball and Softball present this camp for players of all skill levels. Offering top notch instruction to ensure that your slugger has an unforgettable experience.You are invited to attend Top Gunn Baseball & Softball Camp! Top Gunn's philosophy is to provide an A-Z fundamental instruction on all aspects of hitting, pitching, and defense through competition-style games themed around Coach Gunn's favorite movie, Top Gun.
Top Gunn will introduce and demonstrate various drills and games that are tailored to the specific skills and promote a positive team approach. Top Gunn will provide the "how and why" of drills and incorporate this instruction into simulated games.
The number one priority for campers is to have fun and learn to love the game of baseball and softball. Regardless of the level of the player, this curriculum will help all participants progress and gain an appreciation for America's pastime.

Softball Instructor:Coach Missy, Firecracker Softball
Coach Missy has been playing softball for over 25 years, both nationally and internationally for teams in Ohio, Oxford, and London at high school and collegiate levels.
Currently, she is the pitching coach for a local DII University in Philly. She runs several pitching clinics for Philadelphia and Montgomery County areas. She started her own private softball instructor business called: Firecrackers Softball: where she fosters positive self-esteem and individual growth through personal achievement in softball fundamentals and life skills such as sportsmanship, leadership, and positive coaching. Her unique coaching style and enthusiasm continuously channels positive feedback from parents and coaches.
You will receive a welcome letter 3-10 days prior to the start of the program with information regarding weather updates, location, date/time, etc.
Participants should bring a glove, re-usable water bottle, dress in athletic apparel, including athletic shoes.
Weather Information: In the case of inclement weather, we will send out text message and email alerts through the system you registered on. In order to receive text alerts, you must update your account so your cell phone number AND cell service provider are linked to your child's account. Please note: we will only send notifications if the program get cancelled. We will attempt to make up any missed classes.
Refund Policy for all Programs (excludes fitness)
- There is a $25 drop out fee for all programs if you withdraw within one week (7 days) of the program start date.
- Full refunds/credits will be issued if the Parks & Recreation Department cancels a program.
- All refunds have a $10 service fee attached unless the refund is due to injury.
- There is no fee switching from one program to another unless the balance of the class is different.
- After a program starts no refunds will be given unless approved by the Program Coordinator
