About This Activity
[Español Abajo] Please register for a max of 2 sessions per camper! This session is located on the ancestral land of the Pomo people at Preston Farm and Winery, a 125-acre organic farm in Healdsburg’s Dry Creek Valley. The Preston family has stewarded the land over the last 45 years to create a diversified farm including vineyards, vegetables, fruit and olive trees, grain, and pastured livestock. Theme: Farm Explorers: Living with the Land This week, campers will enjoy full days of outdoor adventure filled with games, hands-on farm projects, plant exploration, and refreshing creek time. Together, we will harvest herbs, cook, and create nature-inspired crafts and keepsakes. To culminate the week, campers embark on a Nature Quest! Through these shared experiences, campers will learn how caring for the land helps it thrive and supports us in return, while building confidence, joy and environmental literacy. _______________________________________ ¡Por favor inscriban a cada participante en un máximo de 2 sesiones! Esta sesión se llevará acabo en la tierra ancestral del pueblo Pomo en Preston Farm and Winery, una granja orgánica de 125 acres en Dry Creek Valley, Healdsburg. La familia Preston ha cuidado la tierra durante los últimos 45 años para crear una granja diversa que incluye viñedos, hortalizas, árboles frutales y olivos, granos y ganado.
