In this playful 4-week art class, young artists ages 5–6 will explore the foundational elements of art through fun, hands-on mixed media projects. Each week introduces a new artistic concept while children experiment with a variety of materials and mediums—including drawing, painting, collage, and air-dry clay—to build fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence in expressing themselves through art. Throughout the session, students will, for example, explore lines through drawing, shapes through finger painting, colors through mixed media collage, and textures through air-dry clay, while strengthening important developmental skills such as pencil grip, finger isolation, scissor skills, and hand coordination. Every class is a new creative adventure where children are encouraged to experiment, discover, and let their imaginations shine. This engaging introduction to art provides a playful, supportive environment where creativity, skill development, and fun go hand in hand.
